I thought I would send you a quick
note........

I have the feeling this might be
something you need to hear.

I want to talk about complaining
today. Do you find yourself ever
complaining? Do you have the
HABIT of telling others what you
did or didn't do today?

Do you find that when something
negative or upsetting happens,
you have to run and tell someone
or pick up the phone to 'get it off
your chest'? Well this is
complaining........

Complaining is a habit AND it's
addictive. It's like a drug and
the more you do it, the more you
need to do it. Complaining
literally feeds on your energy
and depletes it.

Have you ever noticed that when
you complain before you know it
you're angry?

It's like the more you complain
the madder you get. So are you
ready to give up complaining? Are
you ready to spend that time and
energy focusing on what you WANT?

Notice if you complain. Notice how
you respond when someone asks
how you're doing. Notice if others
around you are complaining and
how you feel when you hear them
complain. Take note of how, who,
and how long you to talk to others.
Notice if you're talking about what
you WANT or what you DON'T WANT.

Life is a mirror of what you think
and believe. There are no accidents
to what is or ISN'T showing up. But
I promise you if you complain it will
take longer, you will suffer more and
life will become more and more
challenging.

Let complaining go. Allow positive
thoughts to fill your mind. Think
about how it CAN and WILL work
out. Talk about your intentions and
what you're working on NOW and let
every thing else go.

Start a new habit of smiling and
blessing even your biggest messes.
You needed EVERY experience you've
had to get you to this point. SMILE.
You've made it this far ;-D

A lesson in "Associations" and an IMPORTANT message about Friday!!! Read NOW!!

Welcome to November!!!  ;-D
Today's topic is one I want you
to SAVE and refer back to again
and again. I want you to do the
exercises in today's lesson as
quickly as possible. The first
answer that pops into your head
is the answer you write down.

Here we go......

Who are the 5 people you spend
the MOST time with OTHER than
the people you live with. This
includes phone calls, in person
get togethers, texts, emails,
etc.

Now go back and put a (+) next to
their name if they are typically
a positive person and they bring
you UP or put a (-) next to their
name if they typically complain,
gripe and love to share what's
not going well or bring you down.

Now go back and write next to the
(+) or (-) what you think they earn
a year in salary, business
commissions, etc.

I ask you to write this information
down for you to SEE a few facts.....

1) You are the average of the top 5
people you associate with most!

So what does this mean you ask?
Well as you look at your list of
top five associations and you look
at whether they are a positive or
negative energy sponsor AND you
look at their own financial goals,
you have to ask yourself.....

2) Do you want those SAME results
too?

Let me give you an example. Let's
say you have a goal of earning
$10,000 a month. You desire a
thriving business and career and you
want to be joyous doing it. BUT....

ALL five of your TOP associations
earn $3,000 a month. They are great
friends of yours that you've know
for a LONG time. They've seen your
good and bad times and remind you
often of both. They complain
sometimes and they don't always
want to find the positive of a
situation. They are all in
relationships but NOT happily and
share with you OFTEN the traits they
would gladly change about their
spouse.

This is the reality for most, possibly
even you? In the end however, YOU
are 100% responsible for the results
that you're getting in EVERY area of
your life. And believe it or not, it
begins with the support (or lack
thereof) you have and with whom
you associate.

Have you heard the saying 'It's not
what you know, it's who you know'?

It's true!

Ask yourself honestly if your top 5
associations RIGHT NOW can support
you and your dreams? Have they
done some of the things you desire
to do? Can they guide you and bring
you to NEW places? Here's a saying
that cements my point.....

'If you want to fly with the eagles;
you need to quit scratching with the
turkeys.' - Zig Ziglar

Now please understand that I'm NOT
saying to dump your life long friends.
BUT I AM saying to limit your time
with them. Choose a new set of top
5 associations that WILL inspire you
to new heights and will PUSH you past
your current comfort zones.

This is your message to GROW and
EVERYTHING that you desire it PAST
your comfort zone. I'll meet you
there!!! ;-D

PROOF - How Powerful Your Mind Really Is!

Have you ever heard of the 'placebo
effect?

An online dictionary describes it as:

'The beneficial effect in a patient
following a particular treatment that
arises from the patient's
EXPECTATIONS concerning the
treatment RATHER than from the
treatment itself.'

The key word I want to point out is
'expectations'. EVERYTHING you
experience in life is about YOUR
expectations. It's about what you
expect DEEP down inside at a
subconscious or even sometimes
conscious level.

In mentioning the 'placebo effect'
there is some great learning I
wanted to share with you. It's a
phenomenon that I take a special
interest in.

How the Placebo Effect Works.....

In a medical study or research
study 50% of patients are given a
pill which contains medicine or a
treatment of some kind.  The
remaining 50% of patients are
given a pill containing only sugar.

Neither group is told which pill
they've received.  Researchers
then study patients to see who
has an improvement or change
in symptoms for the better.

The truly AMAZING thing is......

There are ALWAYS patients who
receive nothing but a sugar pill,
YET they experience a cure, relief,
miracle, healing, etc.

It has to make you wonder.....

Does it have anything to do with
the pill?  My answer is 'NO'.

It has NOTHING to do with the
pill but has everything to do with
YOUR expectations.  If you
expect to get better and then the
pill or treatment will work, it will. 
If you expect the SAME pill or
treatment will fail, it will.

Either way you are ALWAYS
right.  You get to choose!

Haven't you ever known two
people who had the same illness
and received the same treatment. 
One got better and one didn't. 
Doesn't that make you think to
yourself....

How could they BOTH receive the
same treatment, have the same
illness and yet they both got a
different result?

The answer is in their expectations
and beliefs.

Hi Shelby!!

How do you stay positive and
not give your power away, when
obstacles just continue to get in
the way of achieving your goal? 
I have had to face one illness
after another and was just
diagnosed with another two
weeks ago.  How do I overcome
the anger, fear, doubts of not
knowing what to do with my life
right now?

Hi Donna!

This is a COMMON life circle! 

Here's what's happening. I call
it what-is-itis and it IS a
disease.  (remember dis/ease)

So it boils down like this........

Life/illness occurs, you REACT to
obstacle/illness and make it
MEAN something.  In this case,
that meaning (that YOU just
gave it) means something BAD. 
You feel BAD as a result.  The
bad feeling can only attract
MORE bad and hence ANOTHER
illness or setback.  Then you
REACT and the cycle begins ALL
over again.

This is where MENTAL FITNESS
is the ONLY cure.  You have to
get AHEAD of this mental cycle
and begin assigning NEW
meanings to things.  Begin
believing something NEW about
these experiences. THEN you
will FEEL differently and as a
result, begin manifesting
DIFFERENTLY.  But it ALL
begins with YOU and your
perception. (of which you have
100% complete control)
There are NO happy endings to
unhappy journeys!!!

Your proof.......YOU Keep
experiencing it.  You're the
common denominator.  Different
illness, different setback SAME
person!! You're ALWAYS there ;-D

suggests there is someone else
in my life. How can I handle this

Hi Anonymous!

SOO much to say, soo little space,
LOL  ;-D

First things first.......life is a
MIRROR. If your husband
continues to ask (and mirror)
these types of questions, you
MUST have these same types of
feelings within YOU.  The REAL
question becomes.....Where do
YOU doubt, not trust others,
not trust yourself, feel insecure?

The second thing is......what do
you want to make these
'accusations' (for lack of a better
term) mean?

YOU DECIDE what everything
means.  The rub comes in when
you mix making things FEEL
GOOD AND NOT settling.
If you settle, which of course
does NOT feel good the cycle
CONTINUES (as you've seen).
So you need to find a way to
SOOTHE those feelings within
YOU and then DECIDE how you
want to play the 'game' of life.
