Earlier last evening I was a friends
house. As luck would have it, it
was time for me to meet a new
acquaintance. I found it interesting
when my friend introduced me and said
'This is Shelby, be careful, she can
read your mind.' He then followed up
by saying 'She knows so much and
you say so little.'

I chuckled, winked and said 'Hello',
but It's TRUE!!......

Have you ever noticed that you can
PREDICT how those close to you will
react to certain situations and events?

Have you ever noticed that you KNOW
those close to you well enough that you
could even order food for them off a
menu?

Why is that?

The answer is because you've observed
them again and again in different
situations and the way people think
and act typically doesn't change.

Repeat: the way people think and act
typically doesn't change.

If it did, you wouldn't be able to
guess how your loved ones would act,
let alone predict. Statistics show
that over 90 percent of what you do
is habitual. This means that ONLY
10% of what you do on a daily basis
are you actually CHOOSING. This is
why you're not getting what you want.

The majority of your mental conversation
is happening unconsciously, without
your 'NOW' participation. This is where
your trouble lies.

Up until this point I'm going to make
a guess that you've been trying to RID
yourself of your problems.

You want to get out of debt, lose weight,
de-stress your life, start over, etc.
The problem with this angle of thinking,
whether you know it or not, is you're
staring your problem right in the eye!
And the more you stare, the bigger your
problem gets.

Have you noticed?

Why.... Because it's an ALL-INCLUSIVE
universe, which means, if you're thinking it,
you're going to get it. PERIOD.

The key then becomes to train your mind
to think about what you want. To
daydream movies with HAPPY endings. To
visualize Plan A and ONLY Plan A. To
WATCH the negative thoughts and replace
them quickly with thoughts that serve
you instead.

Now I'm NOT saying it's the easiest
thing in the world to change your mindset,
but neither is driving, raising children,
loving family unconditionally or even
cooking and somehow we manage. It's a
matter of belief.
