In a conversation with my mother earlier
this morning she read me this poem. I
did some research and had to share it.

One Day I Decided To Quit...
I quit my job,
My relationship,
my spirituality.

I wanted to quit my life.
I went to the woods to have one last
talk with GOD."GOD", I said.

"Can you give me one good reason not
to quit?" His answer surprised me...

"Look around", GOD said.
"Do you see the fern and the bamboo?"
"Yes", I replied.

"When I planted the fern and the bamboo
seeds, I took very good care of them.
I gave them light. I gave them water.
The fern quickly grew from the earth.
Its brilliant green covered the floor.

Yet nothing came from the bamboo seed.
But I did not quit on the bamboo.

In the second year
The Fern grew more vibrant and plentiful.
And again, nothing came from the bamboo
seed. But I did not quit on the bamboo."
GOD said.

"In year three there was still nothing
from the bamboo seed. But I would not quit.

In year four, again, there was nothing
from the bamboo seed. I would not quit."
GOD said.

Then in the fifth year a tiny sprout
emerged from the earth. Compared to the fern
it was seemingly small and insignificant. ..
But just 6 months later the bamboo rose
to over 100 feet tall.

It had spent the five years growing roots.
Those roots made it strong and gave it
what it needed to survive.

"I would not give any of my creations a
challenge it could not handle."GOD said to me.

"Did you know that all this time you have
been struggling? You have actually been growing
roots?"

"I would not quit on the bamboo, I will
never quit on you."

"Don't compare yourself to others." GOD said.

"The bamboo had a different purpose than the
fern. Yet they both make the forest beautiful."

"Your time will come", GOD said to me.
"You will rise high"

"How high should I rise?" I asked.
"How high will the bamboo rise?"GOD asked
in return.

"As high as it can?" I questioned
"Yes." GOD said,
"Give me glory by rising as high as you can."

You Create Your Reality. Doubts? Read Now

Hi There,

What is reality?

Let's look at its definition(s):

1. the state or quality of being real.

2. a real thing or fact.

3. Philosophy. a. something that exists
independently of ideas concerning it.

b. something that exists independently
of all other things and from which all
other things derive.

By its own definition; reality is what
YOU and I make of it. YOU create your
reality for you. No one else. We create
our own stories about life, success, money
sex, relationships, religion ALL of it.

We take in what we have been taught, what
we have learned, over heard, experienced,
etc. and then come up with our own story,
our own reality of how life will be.

We have our own story for our successes,
failures, the amount of money we will make,
how the money will come to us, our relationships,
the examples go on and on.

I hope you understand the power of
what you're reading. You create your
world. 100% positively. Reality is only
real to the observer looking.

Here is another way of looking at it:

Your reality or world as it stands right
now as you look around.... The world that
you are living in right now is nothing more
than a manifestation of your PREVIOUS thoughts
and beliefs.

You CAN create something totally different
today if you were to choose it. Allow me
to help you with that. At least where it
comes to MONEY. :)

Do You Judge Your Success, Checkbook Balance or Direction?

Hi There!

If you are in the US, this weekend
is Labor Day Weekend. The BBQ's
will be in full swing. Do you have
anything fun planned this weekend?

Do you know what judgment is?

We ALL judge. We judge whether or
not something is good or bad. We
judge what our children do as
good or bad. We judge what our
checkbook balance is and how successful
we are in our business or careers.

We take a look at what others are
doing or achieving and then Judge
that we are not up to par. That we
fall short somehow.

The problem with judging is that
by judging you're accepting the
problem or circumstance as TRUE.

You can't judge something you don't
accept as true for you. Think about
it...

When you drive to the store, you leave
your house and begin your journey.
When you come to the first stop light
you don't start judging why you're not
there yet. You don’t' get all upset with
yourself that you haven't arrived,
you KNOW that you're on your way to
the store. You KNOW you will be there
shortly.

The is a path that you MUST travel to
get to the store. You drive and have
faith you will show up. But many of us,
if not all of us forget this is true
with EVERYTHING that we attempt.

We must start, travel a path and then
arrive. We must NOT judge or stop and
take notice on our journey. It is merely
our path, just like on the way to the
store. Relax, trust and have faith that
you WILL arrive at your destination.

By stopping, and judging the situation
you are basically accepting your failure.
You are accepting that you have somehow
made a mistake, where in reality, it is
just a stop light on your path.

I want you to observe areas where you
are judging yourself or someone else.
Where are you accepting outside circumstances
as true for you, rather than a mere
stop on your path? Really take a look
and realize that the sooner you release
ALL judgment about yourself, where you are,
how you've gotten here and where you're
going, the sooner Universe can help you.

And you're in luck!

Weeds of the Mind..... You must pull them.

Hello,

I hope your weekend has been extremely
restful and you are ready to create
another fabulous week.

As you know I just returned from a
four day vacation. I write this email
with complete admiration for mother
nature. Here's why.

I live in Las Vegas NV. As you know
this climate is that of a desert.
This summer has been extremely hot
and even more dry. But.....that
doesn't stop the weeds from growing.

I returned home to find two large
planters of plants (which I spent
hours planting) dead and yet 4 or 5
weeds were large, full, vibrate and
smiling happily in their place.

Have you ever noticed that we don't
plant weeds, we don't water weeds,
we don't even fertilize weeds and yet
they still grow luscious, large and
determined? Not only do we not plant
them, but they plant themselves again
and again, sometimes in the exact same
place.

But what about our plants? The
ones that we plant intentionally?
We HAVE to water them, we have to
fertilize them AND we have to keep
the weeds OUT. Weeds will strangle
the life right out of your plants.

The same is true with your mind.
We don't plant the weeds. We don't
plant the thoughts that say:

'It's going to be too hard'

'I've never done that before'

'It didn't work last time'

'Where am I going to get the money'


They seem to plant themselves. AND
if left unattended they fertilize
themselves and they grow stronger
and stronger and multiply by the
minute.

Like our gardens or our plants we
HAVE to plant the seeds of what we
want. Weeds will grown in their
place if we don't. We have to pull
the weeds that are slowing us down
right now. NONE of this will happen
on it's own.

If you don't want the negative weeds
to take over your mind (and I'm sure
you have a few in their right now)
then you MUST plant good, fertile
seeds in your mind that will grow
and produce a harvest. The more seeds
you plant, the more abundant the
harvest. Makes sense right?...

This is difficult if we do it by
ourselves. First, You have to take
100% responsibility for where you are
right now. You must admit that you
DO have weeds pulling at you and
you must commit to planting a good
hearty crop. That's were I come in :)

My Mind Powers program will do just

you to plant hundreds if not thousands

Happy Monday Morning!

Important News - Mindset Matters Podcast On HOLD!

Hi,

I hope you're able to read this email :)

I say this because Universe has been
VERY clear with me that my weekly
podcasted show 'Mindset Matters' is
to be put on hold.

Last week I didn't record an episode.
I have always waited to be 'inspired'
to do the show and the inspiration didn't
come last week. No big deal I thought...

Then this morning. I had mixed
messages. but it was raining! I
live in Las Vegas and we don't get
rain, so when it started this morning
I was thrilled.

I thought 'I'm going to talk about
starting anew. A fresh start'. That's
it. That's what my podcast should
be about. Off to my studio I went.

Well. Needless to say TWO microphones
that have always worked, didn't. I
thought, OK.... I will use my conference
call bridge line and record it over
the phone. About 2 minutes into the
recording, the voice came on and I had
been cut off.

I DON'T need another whisper or worse
a shove to take the hint. I can't say
that I am totally shocked by this
path; my schedule is filling up and
new doors are opening.

I send you this email for TWO reasons.

To inform you that my weekly podcasted
show will be put on hold until further
notice. You will still be able to
access the 25+ hours of previous episodes
currently in the archive library. But
I will no longer be recording future
episodes.

The second reason I send you this email
is PROOF for you that change is not only
GOOD but it is inevitable. You CANNOT
buck the current. You MUST notice the
signs that are being shown to you.

We don't usually know what is on the other
side. I know I have no clear reason
why July 9th was my last recorded episode,
but it was.

I know that I have tried about 10 times
to record an episode with NO success.
The sign has been shown, I have received
it, now I must ALLOW this change.

I know that new and exciting things are
around the corner for you and me!! I
welcome these changes and TRUST that
more of my desires and dreams are around
this corner if I trust and have faith.

A Great Teaching Taught to Me By Picasso.

Hi,

Welcome to July 2007! Hope this
note finds you well.

As you may or may not know I live
in Las Vegas Nevada. I LOVE it
here and today I received an
important teaching.

Because I live here in Las Vegas
I have the unique ability to see
MANY shows, exhibits and cultures
quite easily.

Today I woke up REALLY felt the
urge to go to the Bellagio Casino
and visit their fine art gallery,
and I'm so glad I did.

They are currently showing a personal
collection of some of Pablo Picasso's
work. I excitedly hurried my way to
the casino, navigated my way through
what seemed like a mile walk, bought
my ticket, picked up my hand wand
(to listen to the guided tour) and
off I went.

I wasn't more than four or five pieces
in when I realized 'Picasso wasn't perfect'.
In fact a few of his earlier pieces I
didn't think were that good at all.

The whole experience turned my world
around for a brief moment. I then asked
myself.....

'What am I NOT doing because I don't
think I perfect?' If I'm honest, quite
a few things came to mind immediately.

Picasso wasn't perfect, I'm not perfect,
you're not perfect, nobody is perfect and
the really funny thing is... We never will
be.

So as I walked through the gallery with
my mouth wide open looking at piece after
piece of imperfect art, I realized it was
his LOVE of the art that made Picasso paint,
sculpt and shape. He didn't care AT ALL
if anyone else liked his pieces or not.

He just did what he loved to do, the way
he loved to do it. A man of wisdom; he is
quoted as saying:

'It took me all of my life to learn how to
paint like a child'


What profound words.

I want you to ask yourself right now
'What am I not doing because I don't
think I'm perfect or ready yet?' Let's
pretend you ARE ready.

marks my next LIVE Group Coaching
Event.

As you may or may not know, I hosted
my first LIVE group coaching webinar
a few weeks back. It was an amazing
experience and I learned a TON. ;)

The response to this group coaching event
was extraordinary. Some even asked if
I would host these calls every two weeks!

I have decided to host them about every
5-6 weeks for a VERY limited amount of
time. Now as I mentioned I learned
a TON from this experience so there will
be some changes to the upcoming format.....

We will meet for a full 90 minutes on the
phone on July 28th at 9:00am pacific. ALL
participants WILL be heard at the beginning
of the call and I WILL open the lines at
the end of the call for additional questions.

I will be limiting the number of LIVE
coachees to 6-8. This will allow me to
have time to interact with other participants
and answer additional questions.

There will be NO webinar functionality. I
will provide ALL participants with notes
PRIOR to our call.

The cost will be $11 and because we ARE
going to open the call lines, I have to limit
this telecast to ONLY 150 participants including
coachees. (Not including all Mind Powers members

I have LOTS to tell you!

Hi,

I hope the first six months of 2007
has been all that you have desired.

There is a HUGE energy shift about
to happen. Can you feel it?

I have been cleaning like crazy,
changing the air filters, cleaning
the garage, going through my closets
for clothes that I don't wear anymore,
etc.

Whenever I have these sudden urges to

to the environment through our cleaning

food we eat, the list goes on and on!

it is soooo easy to do. Because it is
so easy to do I have decided to share
just how easy it is!

just came back from a visit to meet
my new nephew. :)

He is sooo amazing. It never ceases
to amaze me how loving, peaceful,
joyful and relaxed babies are. They
can teach us a lot!

Ask and You Shall Receive. Are You Asking?

Deliberately?

We all ask unconsciously, but do
you take the time to ask consciously?
Out loud? Do you even write it?

I'm sure you've heard the saying
'Ask and You Shall Receive'. So...
Are you asking? Do you really believe
that if you ask you will receive?

Do you believe that at your core?

Do you Really believe it's that easy?

Today is the day that we begin to
attract PROOF that in fact, what
we ask for we receive.

As you may or may not know, I have
an online community called my
'Mind Powers' program. Within that
is an online community forum for ANYONE
to use for FR*EE.

I have created a special post titled
'Ask and You Shall Receive'. I
encourage you to post YOUR desires for
what you want to attract.

Let's do a nine day experiment. Post
a list of 10 desires that you would
like to try and manifest over the next
10 days.

For the purpose of this experiment
I want you to believe by at least
50% that you can attract these desires.

Maybe start out with some smaller
desires that you don't have a lot of
resistance to. Some examples might be:

Attracting lunch or dinner
Attracting a cup of coffee
Attracting a business partner
Manifesting movie tickets
Manifesting the next step on your journey
Manifesting a book or information


I hope you get the idea. You receive
what you BELIEVE.

ALL of the 10 desires you list, need to
be desires that you BELIEVE you can
attract. Once you begin 'seeing' proof
that Universe is listening and Answering
your desires, your belief will increase
dramatically.

When your belief increases dramatically
you can attract and manifest ANYTHING.
But much like anything you learn, you
need to take baby steps early on and build
some momentum.

That is the goal with the next nine
days. Now go right away and post YOUR
10 desires and then sit back and watch
for your evidence that Universe is
answering you.

As your evidence appears (and it will)
be sure to come back to our chat room
and post your results. When we ALL do
this exercise you begin to believe
because of others results.

The more you see others achieving and
attracting what they want, the easier
it will be to believe that YOU too can
do it.

Know the Positives & Negatives of Your Reality?

Hi There,

Here we are in June. Can you
believe it? We're almost half
way through with 2007.

Welcome to all our new subscribers.
So glad you're here. I wanted to
touch base with you and share an
important insight with you.

It's about your reality box.

You may say, what IS my reality box.
or even what IS a reality box.

Let's start with the definition of
a box. There are two:

noun - rigid, typically a rectangle
receptacle often with a cover.

verb - to enclose in or as if in a box

Now I know you know what a box is and
I know you have used them many times.
You probably even think of boxes as a
way to keep things IN.

You probably don't necessary think that
a box ALSO keeps things out. The SAME
is true with YOUR reality box.

You may think that it only keeps things
in, but what you may not know is that
it also keeps things out. Important things.

This is where the problem lies. We
don't know what we don't know.

I'm sure you have heard the saying
'Need to think outside the box'

It's true!

We need to improve our 'thinking outside
the box'. In order for growth to occur in
ANY area of your life you have to stretch.

You have to get outside of your comfort
zone. If you want different results, you
will have to THINK and BELIEVE something
different.

So I ask you. What is your reality box?
Where are you keeping new ideas and
possibilities out of your experience?

Don't know? Take a look at your results
in EVERY area of your life. Look at your:

~ finances
~ health
~ relationships
~ career
~ peace of mind
~ spirituality

When we experience struggle, become frustrated,
impatient, depressed, etc. we are getting
true guidance that our reality box needs
attention. It needs expanding.

Your thinking and box of beliefs MUST be
in alignment with where you want to go in
order to experience success.

This is where most of us get fixed and stop.

We aren't getting the results we want
and so we begin DOING something. The doing
is the problem. As soon as you start
doing something, fear and your ego gets
introduced.

I'm suggesting you don't DO anything. I
suggest you examine your reality box, listen
to our own inner guidance and open your
minds to new possibilities. New boxes of
reality.

The bottom line with manifesting and creating
lasting change is.....

Your reality box needs to change in order
for your results to change. You need to
open your mind to the possibilities that it
can work. That you CAN have what you desire.

What areas are you needing to open your
mind to new possibilities? New results?
New successes?
